That’s interesting! Because of Johnny Quest I always thought bathyspheres were used into the 50’s and 60’s. I feel like I saw them in other TV’s and movies from the 60’s. Google says there was even a 1980’s movie with one.
But it was used a few times in the 30’s and never again.
