Welcome to the 24 hour pledge! I’m pledging myself to not drinking today, and invite you to do the same.

Maybe you’re new to c/stop drinking and have a hard time deciding what to do next. Maybe you’re like me and feel you need a daily commitment or maybe you’ve been sober for a long time and want to inspire others.

It doesn’t matter if you’re still hung over from a three day bender or been sober for years, if you just woke up or have already completed a sober day. For the next 24 hours, let’s not drink alcohol!     Day 30. Had an Athletic IPA while cooking dinner and it hit the spot, I was incredibly surprised. All the fun of enjoying a cool ale in the kitchen without the urge to get completely plastered before the meal was ready.

    What really blows my mind is that I bought the six pack last week and completely forgot about it, and I only drank one tonight. If it were my regular brew of choice I would have crushed all six the same night I brought them home.

      I wish I had that much self control. I’m staying completely sober for at least a year to prove to myself I can. Good job though

        They’re non alcoholic from what I’ve read online. Never had one, curious if I would like them and it would hit the spot or I should just stick with my sodastream. My dad seems to like his nonalcoholic brews

          I bought a soda stream and either I’m not doing it right or there’s no substitute for Diet Pepsi. 🤷‍♀️

            Yeah, same here. Whenever I went to doctors and answered how “many drinks do you have a day?” I always had to do the conversion from ml of vodka. lol <- embarrassed laugh
