I think the frog has been killed for a little while now, it’s not in my current Google Weather app. Just some semi-creepy gifs of people.
Still there on my mine on my Pixel 8. Well, most of the time. Sometimes it doesn’t have any accompanying image.

How/why is it “for” the Pixel 9? Unless it has some specific hardware requirement then any app should be able to run on any (new-ish) Android device, right?
It’s shipping with the Pixel 9 by default.
Just how google does stuff. Releases only for current gen then older gen and then to all android. Fyi, I’m running it on my s24+
