    If his first attempt would have gone through, my partner and I would have had $40k in debt forgiven. Under the new plan, it will likely be $0. Ugh…

      I was really hoping the second forgiveness plan would automatically include those that were approved for the first plan :/

      It was never meant to happen, that’s the game the DNC plays.

      Make promises of actually taking steps towards becoming a developed nation, pretend the mean Republicans stopped you from doing it (despite multiple legal mechanisms existing to punch the republicans into fucking off and doing it anyway), and give out a few breadcrumbs so you still vote for them.

      Weird how it’s happened every single time we try to get things other developed nations have enjoyed for 80 years.

        I’m going to need sources here.

        The republican led highly partisan SCOTUS struck this down along party lines.

        So you’re really going to have to explain to me how this is somehow the democrats fault for trying here.
