I have J1 down, completely remote, only requires 4 hours of actual work on a bad day, max 2 meetings a week. But I have had a lot of trouble finding a J2.
For some background I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have worked as an software engineer for the last 3 years, mostly focused on thermodynamic simulations. I’ve been looking on Indeed and LinkedIn for remote positions but it feels like I’ve exhausted what they have. Does anyone have any other good sites for remote jobs?
To answer my own question I’ve never had any success on “Braintrust” (also a lot of scam posts). I avoid zip-recruiter and Google at all costs, they both seem to archive old job posts and show them even after the actual posting is taken down, not to mention the scam sites they redirect you to. Recently I found https://firstround.com/talent/ which has a database of all the companies they work with.
