Headline is slightly misleading, FTA:

"All three states had been considered “lean Republican” in early July, while President Biden was still in the race and falling further behind Trump both on the national level and in the key battleground states. But with polls showing Harris getting back within the margin of error of Trump, or in some cases slightly ahead, the three swing states have been moved to be a “toss Up.” "

So moved from leaning Trump to Toss Up, not quite in the Harris column yet, but moving in that direction.

There are some folks who laud him for his environmental work and know nothing else, nor do they care to learn. There are some folks who don’t want to deal with trump but refuse to vote D. There are some crazy antivaxxers who remember trump touting the covid vaccine as the greatest thing ever and that he personally made every single one. Finally, there are some unplugged folks who see a Kennedy and think he’s all about Kennedy politics.

5% seems pretty likely. The whole reason the Rs are bankrolling him is because he’s got Dem name recognition and they think everyone falls in line with a name rather than a complex group of policies.

Not 5% of sane people, that we might interact with on a daily basis. 5% of… (spooky voice) all kinds. I’m somewhat impressed it’s not more. Wouldn’t doubt some of them are confusing Junior for Bobby or John. “I liked that guy!”
