      Or in any other capitalist country. Banks robbing people are absolute staple of that system.

        tbh I think they’re more technically advanced (because they’re newer, and because they very openly form finance capital, just look at Sber), at least judging but what I hear from people using other countries’ banks, but that’s about the only difference there is.

    There is real freedom of speech in America. I can walk up to the White House and shout, “Ronald Reagan is an idiot!” and nothing will happen to me, but what about the USSR?

    And in the USSR, I can also go up to the Kremlin and shout “Ronald Reagan is an idiot!” and nothing will happen to me either.

    The only think that I can remember that somewhat close

      It’s a play on a kind of joke where subject and object are reversed in Soviet Russia, e.g.:

      “In Soviet Russia, you do not rob bank - bank rob you”
