I can think of a few interpretations of this. Anybody know what it actually means?

Lots of olive orchards were destroyed in the conflict, but the image seems to be a (water)melon.

My guess is that the fighting spirit of the Palestinians was only displaced to other areas (sown elsewhere) and the Palestinian people were not finally solved just like the Jews were not who were also cut down during the Holocaust.
