More drivers = more good

kernelsdrivers if they want them. Let them cook for a few years.Why is this karmic justice? How exactly have all Windows users offended you?
How do you involve the users in there? My gripe is with the OS. And the special treatment it gets from the hardware’s driver developers.
Edit: Ah, I get it. I was referencing the windows users because that’s what the Linux users get told. Thank you to all the driver developers, btw!
Is Valve releasing drivers not the definition of “official support”?
Valve’s support team isn’t going to assist with troubleshooting a borked Windows installation, so no.
So in order to have “official support” Valve has to hold your hand through installation?
I was attempting to provide clarification between what they mean between the difference of “Official Support” and something like effective support.
Clearly this a step towards them more officially supporting Windows, but it stops short of “Official Support”.
Official support implies that they will do whatever necessary to take the device from an unworkable state to a workable one.
