Yeah same. I thought the dwarf connection might be a misdirect and it was just words that can describe a person if you add “y”, so my guess was nerdy.

Never heard of runt or whopper lollies. Nerds did occur to me as a lolly but I never took it seriously because I couldn’t find more.

Whoppers are basically not-quite-as-good Maltesers, and Runts are like a little fruit-shaped variant of Spree. The banana ones are the best; cherry would be a strong second if the bastards hadn’t discontinued them.
I’m afraid Spree doesn’t mean anything to me either.
