You joke but that time I took a ridiculous amount of weed and fell into some kinda weird portal my inner voice told me if I ever got lost in the otherworld to just open my eyes and look for the cat (I have a super people-oriented cat that always wants to be near me) and that’s what I did (I don’t remember much else tbh other than that I saw something) but anyway I can confidently tell you that the right cat makes a fabulous trip sitter too.
