If you don’t plan to take out any new lines of credit in the near future, then it is probably a wise choice to freeze your credit with all three credit agencies. It will take about 30 minutes, but there are no downsides other than being a minor inconvenience to unfreeze later when you want a new line of credit.

This kind of thing is so common that I basically assume my SSN, etc. is public knowledge. It sucks lol.
