    At first glance it just looks like bondage games between a married couple. Then you notice they are both fully restrained, the dirty newspaper and generally disheveled room. It feels ominous. Is this a final desperate kiss before something terrible happens?

    The only out the artist is willing to give us is that we can’t see the woman’s other hand, leaving the viewer a tiny glimmer of hope.

      Well-put! Considering they are both tied, there must be a third person, who is perhaps not the friendliest type. Hours of torture and humiliation may lay ahead of this poor, conservative couple. Thank you for pointing me to the glimmer of hope. Now I can sleep somewhat better.
