They weren’t expecting a big case? Did they think Jack Smith was mad dogging Trump the whole time in court just for fun?

To be fair, the only lawyers who would take trump as a client at this point are the ones who are outstandingly dumb

Yet they passed their both their law degree and the bar exam, so they can’t be THAT stupid. Somewhere there’s a small group of lawyers who are either really desperate, about to retire, or they have some kind of wild idea about this making them famous. And that group is rapidly being depleted, because even they’re finding out you literally can’t defend a moron like Trump, while also not getting paid.

Just because you are book smart doesn’t mean you are incapable of participating in a cult like MAGA.

You could still qualify to be one of Trump’s lawyers.

As they say with doctors- you know what they call someone who barely passed the bar? A lawyer.

You often find people who have advanced degrees who are good at one thing but horrible at many other things. This is most obvious if you consider the teaching quality of the average university professor. Yes they have a PhD, but it doesn’t mean their classes are worthwhile, and it doesn’t even mean they can write worth a damn.

This is why the humanities are so important to being a well-rounded thinker. I’ve known many an engineer who were mathematically brilliant but were incapable of determining who won a debate or even how to read literature with comprehension.

I remember asking a young engineer to summarize a paragraph he’d just read aloud and he just read it over again. I asked him to explain it and he started rereading it again. He literally didn’t comprehend what he was reading. It was just an endless succession of words linked one after the other.

There’s been a huge push for a priority in STEM fields and, I get it, it’s important work with rigorous requirements and expectations. It can create dangerously overconfident and blindly ignorant people.

Remember Ben Carson? A literal brain surgeon who said the Egyptians built the pyramids for grain storage.

Nah, it’s diaper Don who is doing the pants shitting. The lawyers are making bank (the few that aren’t facing criminal prosecution).

Don’t you need to get paid to make bank? I thought he stiffs all the staff. I know lawyers are more careful now, but the good ones don’t touch him anyway. The maga ones are true believers and aren’t in it for the money.

Saying that, I think a lot of the grifting is to pay for legal bills, so it would be interesting to see how much is going to legal bills.

I bet a lot of his current legal bills are being paid by his campaign. Which might not be legal, but when has he let a minor detail like that stop him?

He has a legal defense public action committee, but there was recent allegations that money was siphoned from his campaign to restore the PAC’s coffers. Evidently it was depleted to less than 20% of what it was a year before, indicating motive for the campaign funding crime allegation. Since the PAC is public, so is there accounting ledgers.

Great, now do the same to Trump. Make him shit his pants. Then put him in an orange jumpsuit and leg irons.

Trump’s been in the pants shitting phase for years. He has famously worn diapers as far back as his The Apprentice days, mostly because he is a fat lazy fuck who enjoys humiliating his aides by making them change his shitty diapers and wipe his shitty ass.

I wonder what it would do about his chances if he shit his pants in public? Would they still be all-in for the pants shitter?

According to the producer(s) of The Apprentice, when Trump makes a particular face, that looks like a really wide stupid grin … It means he just pooped his bum bum and he needs to be cleaned up and re-diapered. They also revealed that his incontinence was a result of medication abuse. There were pictures of him with an imported variety of a familiar OTC med that filled a nearby open drawer. It also explained how he is up at late hours of the night, tweet storming.
