I just bought a brand new Tracer 9 GT and Im absolutely loving it. Im currently trying to maximize its utility as a sport tourer and looking for some sorta cup holder solution, preferably one that doesn’t attach to the handlebars. I figured that a tank bag would be best suited for this application but I’m not sure if something like this actually exists?

Why not like a bum bag camel back or something? Unless we’re talking like for soda and coffees

I wear a helmet always so I’ve never even though of this hahaha

I wear a modular helmet but yea this would be for coffee/soda/etc I carry around a large bottle of water for real hydration needs but itd be nice to have a milkshake or something on the longer, hotter trips

ive never worn a modular helmet but is it that easy to pop up and down? thats dope, i should probs pick one up then haha

and the first thing i thought of was like a magnetic cup holder like for a lawn mower or like a back hoe.

I 3d printed one for a snowmobile that latched onto the gas cap. Not sure what the tracer cap looks like, but it might be a solution.

I have a 3d printer and some calipers. Do you happen to have any images of your design?

I appreciate you! Thats a very elegant solution really. While the gascap on the bike is very different It still gives me some inspiration

My bike has some screws that don’t actually do anything in the gas ring. I beleive tank lock rings take advantage of that. So maybe use 4 longer screws and some flanges on the cup holder?
