We recently rescued a little orange cat, we decided to name her Pippy. She was starved and injured. We took her to the vet and she’s got a bit more going on than we thought.

Having very recently barely recovered from financial hardship due to my own medical bills. This sweet little girl just needs a little help.

Edit* for some reason I can’t reply to people from kbin.social

But thank you for the dono!

If kitty is young, be aware that your girl may actually be a boy! Orange girls are very rare. Unless the jibblies are out, loud and proud, it can be very hard to determine sex, even for a vet.

    Good luck to you both!

It is definitely a girl, turns out she’s a about 8 months old. She’s just very tiny. So not only is she an orange girl, making her very rare, she also has a bobtail making her very unique. She’s very special!

Those back claws are ready to disembowel. Watch out!

We adopted a rescue too. He’s a blue-point himalayan…I think? Absolutely gorgeous creature I call Totoro after the mythical creature he resembles.

But it’s clear he has had a hard life. Frost bite around the ears, a broken sternum that appears to have healed on its own, and an incurable FIV infection that went into his gums requiring all his teeth to be removed.

Fortunately for us, all of the initial expenses including neutering and vaccines were covered by a vet school who were using him as a test patient for students. He is still a little on the expensive side, but we haven’t been hit with any earth-shattering bills yet, so I feel I can contribute a modest amount towards your gofundme. Good luck with Pippy!

Our rescue is great! Most loving creature I’ve ever known. He craves human companionship even more than food.

Wow thank you so much! We weren’t anticipating homing another cat. We already have 3, but it looks like we now have 4. She’s so special and loving.

My brother had an orange manx cat when I was a kid. I can’t remember if it was a boy or a girl, just that it was the cutest thing.

Basically it’s a breed of cat with a very tiny tail.

Close, but Pippys little stub tail is a bit bigger and pokes straight up like a deer tail lol. I think it’s just a little bobtail.
