Time to lawyer up and beat that city council down for blatant discrimination on the basis of protective class.

Not where I’m from, but I guess it varies with location. I don’t live in such a small village either.
He also talks about running for election in 2025, so perhaps it was a sudden vacancy and temporary appointment until election
