      I feel you. We’re blessedly clear today but we’ve had at least a month of smoke cover so far this year.

    I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but I wonder whether a lack of increase to the budgets as required by us damaging our climate is also a factor. I’m not sure we can fight a 2023 wildfire season on a 2001 wildfire budget, even if we account for inflation.
