You take the concepts learned during those days and implement them here. So yeah, a solution for using an onscreen keyboard with a controller (most likely Xbox if on PC) could have been solved during the 360 era.
I hate gaming with a keyboard. Just doesn’t work for me. Always been a controller guy even while playing PC games like team fortress
