Larian made the Divinity Engine. It’s very impressive and looks stunning. Replaying Divinity 2 I had forgotten the great music that is in the game. Lovely to listen to while I was exploring.

This means that you won’t experience any bugs, glitches, or optimization issues while playing the game

    That’s a ridiculously aggressive claim.

I haven’t played a lot of Baldur’s Gate 3, but Divinity 1 and 2 ran very well. I finished them and don’t remember any crashes or problems. My recent Divinity 2 play through has been perfect.

BUT you are right about that boast. There are so many different combinations of PC parts and even OS with Windows, Linux, and Mac…I know there will be some bugs. Not sure why the author would say this.

Hope it does run well on release tho.

D:OS2 handles beautifully on the steam deck, controller and all, and I haven’t noticed any glaring issues. It’s just a silly claim, especially when the company didn’t make it and the game isn’t out yet.

It won’t be bug free. Games of this size and scope never are, but at least as of Patch 9 of the EA the only major recurring bug is a freeze when entering some dialogs during long play sessions. It’s fixed with a reload though, so it’s not too bad.
