    I support the general message. I just feel like we don’t need to celebrate normalcy. We celebrate exceptional physique because it is exceptional.

    It has the same vibes of celebrating fettecini Alfredo. It’s totally fine and lots of people like it and there are times I pick it over a menu full of other options, but is it worth celebrating?

    So women who are conventionally attractive aren’t real? Sucks for women who are actually fit and in shape that they get shit on and called fake etc, then people wonder why they have self esteem issues

    Or it’s just my body. Sometimes it’s a real shape, but other times it’s an unreal, imaginary, or even Escher-esque shape. But the value it holds is first and foremost that it is the only body I will ever exist in. Body positivity and body negativity are two sides of the same thing, body neutrality frees you from the concern of valuing your body by its appearance
