The game looks cute. I’m sure it’s only like three hours of gameplay, but I decided to preorder a copy. Also picked up Dragonhym (nice art, and they claim 10-15 hours of gameplay) and Kudzu (fantastic music) while I was at it. My first modern Game Boy games.

I personally love https://tangramgames.itch.io/tobu-tobu-girl-deluxe and would love to get a physical release someday. As it stands its on a everdrive after I paid them on itch. Im loving this throwback game console games we have been seeing lately.
Fuck Palmer Luckey and fuck his Chromatic, but the game is cute.
What is going on with Chromatic?
I don’t know and I don’t care. Palmer Luckey was the guy who started Oculus, promised it would never sell out, then instantly sold it to Facebook and started a privacy invasion company.
Facebook offered him nearly a billion dollars personally. I don’t think many people would do something different there.
But I don’t think most people would go on to start a military subcontractor. Between that and his politics, he’s pretty shitty.
Facebook and Luckey both say they fired him for reasons that don’t have anything to do with politics, so there’s probably something else that makes him shitty that we don’t even know about.
A promise is a promise. I could see backing out if there were extenuating circumstances or some kind of concession to try and mitigate it, but it was just cartoon dollar signs in his eyes and a middle finger to everyone else.
But yeah, I didn’t have time to go into detail but I appreciate you adding the extra nuance to the fact that all signs point to this guy being a toxic piece of shit all around.
