Let’s start this thing!

Link some articles, post ideas, interact and convince others to join us.

And tell me what are you thinking about a migration, the future of Reddit (will you return?), your experience with the fediverse,…

Even though it still has its quirks, I sincerely hope this sticks. I’m positive that the platform(s) will evolve and become even better than Reddit ever was. Looking forward to this journey

same. I admit I still don’t entirely understand how this whole thing works, but glad other options to reddit are starting to become available.

Go ahead, I’d rather not use Discord for community building too much. I really dislike the format. And it’s just another corporate platform that’ll do the same thing to its users like all the other ones did.

I’m doing quite fine actually! The only thing I really lost is access to, is the mindless scrolling, but that’s actually a good thing.

There’s no really coordinated effort to migrate somewhere else, so there’s different ‘belgium’ groups on the threadiverse right now. There’s also @belgium for instance. But I hope we can consolidate a bit and get something going. Would be nice!

I myself am not new to the fediverse. Been using it for almost three years now. But the reddit-alternatives like kbin or lemmy are still new to me and as with all new software it takes a bit of getting used to.
