Went with the Henson AL13 medium I just got in the mail from Razor Emporium.

So far I love the AL13. One thing to keep in mind, it is a very light razor and may require a tiny bit of pressure. A bit of an adjustment from my Merkur 34c. Not too impressed with the RK blade though. Felt like it wanted to skip but I could tell that it wasn’t the fault of the razor itself. May start putting my supply of Astra blades in it once I wear down the RK blade that’s in it.

• Blade: Gillette Perma-Sharp (5)

• Lather: Seaforth! Sea Ice Lime

• Post Shave: Stirling Mentholated Unscented Witch Hazel and Aloe, Seaforth! Sea ice Lime Aftershave Splash, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream Extra-Dry

Just a 2 pass shave plus a couple clean-up ATG passes on some trouble areas. Overall, a good shave. Jawline still an issue, though.

Was also hoping that my Gillette Slim was going to arrive today, so I guess I’ll just have to wait until Monday to give that a chance!
