Two men are in police custody on suspicion of fatally shooting a 20-year-old man in the Lower Haight area of San Francisco last year.
Kameron Kaywood, 35, and Delvon Carter, 25, were identified as suspects in the June 2022 shooting, according to the San Francisco Police Department. Kaywood was in custody in Contra Costa County on suspicion of an unrelated crime when he was identified as an alleged participant in the crime, while Carter was found and arrested in South San Francisco on Wednesday.
The men were booked into jail for homicide and are being held without bail. Court dates in Kaywood and Carter’s cases have yet to be scheduled.
SFPD officers were called on June 30, 2022 to the 400 block of Rose Street to investigate a shooting and found the victim, Carlos Discua of San Francisco, wounded at the scene. He was taken to a hospital, where he died of his injuries.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and anyone with information was asked to contact San Francisco police at 415-575-4444.
