Lynda Carter, the original Wonder Woman actor, denounced her sister’s campaign for a competitive seat in the Arizona House, telling Mother Jones on Friday that she wouldn’t support her for any elected position.

The actor’s statement was included as part of Mother Jones’ exposé on her sister, Pamela Carter, the far-right Republican running to represent part of Maricopa County in the Arizona House of Representatives.

I’m glad she’s standing up against hate. She has more to lose than most of us but still stood up.

That being said, she was 66 in that picture and that freaks me out a little. I remember watching reruns of her on TV back in the 80’s. At the rate I’m going, I’ll be looking like the sorting hat from Harry Potter by that age.

“On her website, Pam claims to have her ‘family’s full support,’” Lynda Carter told Mother Jones. “I have known Pam my entire life, which is why I sadly cannot endorse her for this or any public office.”

Her sister will rush to amend the website, I’m sure. /s

      Vicious.

with the sister joining the dark side, maybe her moniker should be Plunder Woman.

We need a campaign ad pointing out how many of these people have been disowned by their own family members

And the other is a celebrity.

This is just a contrarian being willfully obtuse.

Your own close family coming out against you in a political campaign is news. Coupled with that she’s actively someone a portion of the population would recognize and you have a news story.

So you can type without making any meaningful points? How is this a comment?

Someone’s butthurt that Republican candidates are so detested that even their own family members come out condemning their policy positions.

      Cry about it.

So many red flags in your comment, it’s hard to know where to start.
