From what I can figure out he’s not in the comic books. And apparently James Gunn did make a short film about this that never got released. But this is mentioned as Groot’s associates in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1. So yeah it seems like this is only a character for the movie and not anywhere in the comic books. But it’s a origin story for how Rocket and Groot met in the movie a origin story we may never see. We can know that Rocket’s gun is made out of Tibius Lark’s parts but we don’t know what he looks like. I would actually like to see the origin story to how Rocket and Groot met in the movies but yeah I don’t think James Gunn is going to work on it cause he already scrapped that so it would be hard to try from scratch.
