I have even more respect for medical training and doctors. It never occurred to me that they would go through this level of preparation before working in the field. Kudos, damn.

It’s also wild to read that a real human cadaver hadn’t been dissected until the mid 1500s. As much as the world is shit right now, at least I can be comforted in knowing that if I need surgery, it’s based on real knowledge of anatomy.
