      Yea, if we want this platform to work, people need to show up, comment, and post. Also, be patient. Wah, this isn’t new reddit. What an obnoxious, garbage post. Like, this is just shitty clickbait from a wannabe journalist.

    It does read like their expectations were way too high. But they are right that this isn’t casual user friendly yet. I do hope we get there, I’d like this place to stay active.

      It took me about a week to grasp the basics of Lemmy and the fediverse. I enjoy the communities and feel like a lot of the comments are more engaging and useful. Hopefully, those big content creators will make the switch, if they haven’t already. Meanwhile, I’ll continue to try and do my part to be the change I want to see.
