Great drive by Nando Lorris, converted a pole position start finally! Colapinto had a great race until the pit stop sent him into the midfield blackhole, he could have gotten points today. I missed Leclerc overtaking Hamilton, guess the Ferrari got better as the race went on.

Perez doing his part in the constructors by getting a point (/s obviously). Hell, Danny scored as many points as Checo for RB by snatching that fastest lap away.

You don’t get a point for FL if you’re not top 10, he just took it from Lando.

But I defo agree with your sentiment lol

I know, but Lando not getting it is worth more for Verstappen personally and for RB as a team it’s the same in point difference with McLaren.

Daniel taking that point was only to help Max and afaik, they are not supposed to coordinate like that between teams

Yeah McLaren surely will complain about that coordination, at least behind closed doors if not publicly

I thought so too. Just looked through the sporting regs and couldn’t find anything about inter-team coordination

Yeah, it would be super hard to prove as well

Considering McLaren is the most affected but they ended up winning big today, I doubt anything willl happen

Plus it was Ricciardo’s good bye race so they’ll likely be super lenient

Personally I would have preferred the highlight of Ricciardo’s last race to be a good race but, sadly, that did not happen

Yup, agree. They may complain, and worst case it’ll be like “okay … Stop it then”

The driver’s championship has a chance be super tight in the end, so I get it, but daaaang what a classic petty F1 move to make the jr team pit lol

Haha DC just dumping a bunch of water on Norris in the post race interview.

Probably one of the most uneventful Singapore GP’s in recent times. The cars in the front built up such a huge gap.

Great drive by Piastri getting to the podium. Leclerc had a good drive as well.

With the way F1TV kept bringing it up in their commentary, it does appear that this was Ricciardo’s last race.

Did you see his post race interview? He was fighting back tears and so was the F1TV crew when they cut back to them. It seems the writing is on the wall.

Bittersweet moment as someone younger definitely deserves a chance to show what they can do, but mid season oustings never feel good and Daniel is a fan favorite.

Whatever happens I hope he has made peace with his time in F1. He’s made a lot of money and memories.

This was sad. I know it’s time. But boy howdy I’ve loved everything about Danny as a person. He’s held his head so high during what has to be an incredibly mentally tough journey.

This was actually pretty brutal to watch. The man is doing everything he can to keep his composure, say the right things, and still be the positive force he always is.

But this is the end. He knows it, we know it. And he has to look at a camera and keep smiling for us.

Tough stuff and I will always respect and love Danny. Legitimately my favorite personality in the sport, and I truly hope he bounces back personally, and can somehow continue to contribute to F1 somehow. I imagine he could be a great tv personality one day.

It’s just sad. Lovable dude. End of an era.

So rumours of Max’s demise and perez’s rise were greatly exaggerated. Max messed up the set up in one race and was slower than checo (on a track that is checo’s favourite mind you) and people came crawling out of their holes claiming checo is quick and that the car screwed him(which is true but only to an extent) and that the only reason max was quick is because he had an illegal car and shit

Radio to Norris: “Mate, the sticky up bits are the wall. Wall is bad”
