aaa this show is so much fun
It is, isn’t it? I went into season 1 not sure what to expect and I’m so glad I did. I’ve been enjoying Yuri Golf a lot.
if aoi and eve’s shots combined, it’d be kinda like the title of that smashing pumpkins song huh. really hoping for some sort of beautiful, rainbowy combo shot in the last ep somehow. that or whatever this show’s equivalent to newtype shenanigans would be.
Yuri Golf getting closer to the finish line and once again there is drama. It does not look like Aoi will be able to keep her promise to play with Eve.
Aw man, the way the writers have things set up, I have no idea what’s going to happen next episode!
I liked that Tigress Woods is a normal, serious, and talented golfer, as opposed to some cackling villain who uses stupid gimmicks like snake woman.
On the other hand, this all feels a bit too normal, and I’m half expecting the lesbian golf mafia to pop up and make life hard for Eve on the last day with one last golf hole transformation sequence.
I love how this show encapsulates both sides of anime (the cute girl doing the cute thing she loves and then the absolute anime bullshit that is Eve’s golf) and smashes them together into a fantastic hype story about golf of all things.
