This run was nothing special. Nothing bad happened. Nothing good happened earlier than expected. It was just an easy run.
I don’t really play to maximize wins. I just do it to fill time.

It seemed unreachable to me, and now I can ascend half of the time (without challenge; with a few challenges, it’s harder)
I like how SPD rewards tenacity and player’s experience
I like how weapons don’t degrade over time and monks don’t kick weapons out of your hands.
I’m still working on making it past Goo regularly.
Find a door with water on your side. Lure it to you. Plant a fire or poison seed in the door. Toss an earthroot seed into the water. Stand in it. Beat up Goo while it’s being poisoned or on fire.
