    Is it any worse than the usual betas? They let customers find the bugs for decades.

      There is no better way to test software than testing it in production. People will tell you the bugs without getting paid!

      There really is no excuse for one of the most valuable and profitable companies in the world to not properly test their flagship software.

        Of course there is always a limit on testing software, and no money in the world can guarantee that a reasonably complex software is absolutely error free. But I agree, if anyone has the budget to get at least the basics right, then it would be the “big ones” like Microsoft, Google, and Apple.
