Man I don’t even care anymore. 99% of the posts are bots or weird ass antagonists, the app is complete shit and only works half the time, and there are so many worthless ads.

Zzz reddit can just go die.

Any time I look at the front page: AITA for not speaking to my sister after she murdered my husband and children? My mom says I’m being to hard on her.

I partially blame the mods. They continue to work for free, and have shown that they’ll roll over and ultimately do whatever spez wants. Complaining while still helping Reddit is meaningless at best. The only Reddit mods I have any respect for are the ones who quit.

If you’re a Lemmy mod, I applaud that. You’re passionate about what you do, and you’re also providing a needed resource. If you’re a Reddit mod, you’re voluntarily letting a company exploit your talents. It’s pathetic.

No more porn and/or toss any “offensive” subreddit.

“Community Type settings have historically been used to protest Reddit’s decisions,” they wrote.

"While we are making this change to ensure users’ expectations regarding a community’s access do not suddenly change, protest is allowed on Reddit…

But if a protest crosses the line into harming redditors and Reddit, we’ll step in."

I mean, it’s the same thing governments do, hard to be surprised about it.
