“Jenny” is the seventh track and fourth single on Studio Killers’ eponymous debut album.

The song is about a woman who is in love with her best friend Jenny. While the narrator values their friendship, she longs for them to become lovers instead.

According to Cherry, “Jenny” is a song that she wrote before she was involved with the band. She said it was inspired by her lesbian romantic interest in a woman of the same name.

In a Finnish radio interview, the band explained that they believe the idea of a lesbian relationship is nothing to be shy away from.^[1]
