Can someone explain why they all took a rest so out in the open like this? I would expect them to be aware of their enemy using thermal imaging to locate their positions, like both sides likely do, so why dig a person-sized crater and sleep?
The Russian war machine isn’t geared for a reduction in casualties or losses. They’re likely without intel, options, etc. A good chunk of them are migrants Russia has imported under the promise of citizenship and work, only to conscript to the front lines.
Might’ve been stuck out in the open during a day assault. Decided to wait out until night in some shell craters, fell asleep. Got got.
Real risky move, third guy “almost” (ykwim) got him. Why not get the drones involved or at least bring another guy, “you get the first hole I’ll get the last two, on три, давай”? (Get your minds out of the gutter lol.)
