The race starts at about 7 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6 and travels through many Portland neighborhoods where streets will be blocked off. See the route map here.

The route is EXTENSIVE. Both sides of the river downtown.

Best bet is to steer clear of anywhere close to this on Sunday:

      36 blocks around = 4.5 miles per lap? 5.7 laps?
