For some reason I imagined the sword to be much bigger than it’s actual dimensions. Very cool though. Can’t forget the obligatory fuck the British museum though
Do you know the purpose of the change in width of the blade on the cutting side just above the pommel? I thought it was damaged at first but on looking closer it’s intentional.
Might be to signal the ricasso - the unsharpened part - for gripping, though I don’t know much about these swords.
