for a game that came out when this one did and on the hardware it did, would you prefer a $20 basic, well-performing but aged looking port, or a $60 remaster? but if other comments are right we’ll get a $60 bad port lol

Look, I get that we all hate rising prices. But with Monster Hunter, I know my partner and I are going to get several hundred hours of entertainment out of it.
I’m happy for you if you do, I just can’t justify spending what publishers are asking most of the time. Every now and then a title comes along that for me is worth it, those times are getting more and more infrequent as the prices climb.
Man… Might be worth it just for the zombie expansion. That was the best part of the RDR series.
Looks like it’s 50EUR on Switch, so that’s my guess on PC.
I waited for this so long that I eventually just played it on an emulator (that’ll no longer receive updates). I somehow doubt that the experience will be much better with a new PC version. I played it at 3x internal render resolution and at 60 FPS.
