The Laphroaig was incredible if you like the peat and the sweet.

I don’t think I’ve had that version but the Cairdeas 2018 Fino Cask was also sherry finished and possibly my favorite Laphroaig of all time. There’s something about the smoky peat being moderated by a wine texture.
I have a bottle of Ardbeg Blaaack committee edition and its the same thing where these wine cask finishes really emphasis and partner with the islay flavors.
I can’t find Nikka From the Barrel anywhere in Northern Florida or Northern Louisiana when I look over the past few years. I want to try it pretty bad.
I don’t see it very often in Colorado but I did see it internationally. It was good.
