      Treason trials and the death penalty being dangled tantalizingly for the worst of them would be ideal, but unfortunately it seems that’s not a very popular position.

    Why don’t we celebrate the end of war? I had to look, I don’t see anything of any substance on April 9. I propose Reunification Day.

      Because the war brought liberation to millions of Americans, while reunification brought oppression to those same Americans as the North lost its spine to impose terms on the South.
