Polar makes the best seltzer water.

I will admit that I drink a lot of Waterloo in areas where Polar isn’t for sale.

Fucking yep. Used to live next to the Polar HQ in Worcester, MA. It was like a slice of heaven. There were entire aisles dedicated to just Polar seltzer flavors. Those were the days.

I am also from MA and it sucks that it’s hard to find the crazy variety of flavors everywhere else in the country. Some places are better than others but the Polar flavors are probably the only thing I miss about living in MA.

You and me both. MA got worse after the pandemic and I moved the F out of there. Should have loaded up on flavors before I moved. Lesson learned.

Also, now I wonder if there is a way to subscribe to shipments of Polar seltzer. I would do that in a heart beat. Polar Seltzer membership - exclusive VIP flavors. I’d be crazy enough to do it.

I’ve looked at buying them online and I don’t remember what I found. That was maybe 10 years ago. I should look into getting some mailed to me somehow. Or maybe I could just ask my family to send me some.

Very limited selection on Amazon but good enough to feed the addiction. Definitely surprised there aren’t more channels for purchasing the goods.

Find whoever is shipping the good flavors to Alaska and tip them well.

They do! I mean i also enjoy bubbly and La Croix though, Perrier on occasion too although it’s a bit strong sometimes.

I wish polar made better tonic water though, that’s the one thing they make I don’t really care for.

bubly’s flavors are decent, but i find their plain gets flat really quickly for some reason? i’ve tried two or three different cases of it to see if it was a fluke, but no luck.

very glad this is my first lemmy comment given my chosen username ;)

Personally Bubbly is my favorite but I tend to drink them pretty fast. I also noticed that they get flat pretty quickly. Other than them, Polars or Liquid Death is pretty great despite Liquid Death being a little pricier.

Also, welcome to Lemmy! This is only my second comment lol

SodaStream is my go to. I dont care for flavored seltzer so its great for sparkling water on demand and way cheaper than my previous Liquid Death addiction. I do still keep some LD around though just in case my CO2 runs out.

Soleil (Safeway’s store brand) is one of my favorites right now. They got so much variety in flavors.

Buy a gallon or two keg and a co2 cylinder from a home brew shop to make your own. Much better long term.

I can never get the flavors right. I can’t seem to duplicate the Polar flavors. I had a sodastream for a while and I tried but it wasn’t the same.

I hated a soda stream. Pouring from a keg adds a little extra something for me. Way cheaper too.

I usually splash in a little margarita mix when I pour a glass. Just a little.
