Migrants say they don't believe government efforts to tackle smuggling gangs will stop illegal migration, with "thousands" of people willing to take the money of those determined to get to the UK.

They decided to pay smugglers to get them into Britain after being denied asylum in other European countries, including Germany. They each paid around £3,000.
