That myth was debunked in the 00s when the Bush era only gave us one good album

(I actually love '00s American music, but most anti-Bush songs sucked)

LMMFAO This is certainly an unpopular opinion. 😍

Could you give some examples of music that’s better under a Republican U.S. presidency than not?

Rage Against the Machine and System of a Down for starters. Or go back in time to the stuff that came out during the Vietnam War. (edit to add Dead Kennedys during Reagan, a personal favorite).

I never said that the good music was pro-establishment. Pain and suffering tends to inspire fantastic art.

Man, I was such an asshole to Green Day during this period. For some ungodly reason I held on to punk as a rhythm not an overall attitude.

My dudes! When I tell you this, I want you also to know, in high school, when I was in my first bands - they were shitty punk bands - I dressed in khakis and sweater vests. Thank goodness I saw more of the world.

God damn do I hope my children are better than me.

The thought reminds me more of YoungBloodZ - Presidential

It mentions George Bush and Bill
