Appears? There’s video and photos of people burning to death. At least one of the victims has been identified. There are reports from traumatized eyewitnesses. Why the timid headline? Do we have to wait for Israel’s word on what happened?

The people who own/work at CBS certainly seem to think so, which says a lot about their “journalism.”

I don’t exactly see an exodus of journalists to more independent publications because they refuse to print such horseshit, so yes, the people who work there are part of the problem, too.

tbh though work at large publications are probably easier to get/pays better/more reliable, so it’s not like journalists that stay at these places necessarily agree with the publications’ stance

So the “I’m alright Jack” posture.

It’s a selfish and immoral posture already when one takes it at the voting booth to chose a candidate that will personally benefit them whilst screwing most people, but it’s especially low when one for personal upside maximization is knowingly part of the machinery that swindles people into supporting a Genocide well on it’s way to Holocaust.

      Yes of course.

      US raises concerns.

Israel promises to investigate into the matter.

Then we never hear of it again as the newer atrocities are bigger than the last.

We’ve been in this loop for a year now. It’s not new.

If you have wondered how some people deny obviously documented things like the Holocaust, this is a prime example.

Someone should raise concerns in response

    “Raises concern”.

The media and our their leaders have disastrously misjudged the public’s acceptance of Israel’s actions, imho. I speak as a Canadian who is wholly disgusted in his government and media reaction to this. I feel like I’m part of an abandoned majority sold out for votes and money because my government seems to think I’m OK with this based on their response. I expect a response equal to our disgust of Russia’s invasion and genocide. Greater, actually, for both. Not abstaining at the UN. Not just cutting off arms. I think we should be a vocal and active part of absolute international outrage at Russia, Israel, and everyone else party to this power play of worldwide history worship.

“We” had some moral ground in disgust of Russia. I feel my government and others have passively or actively accepted and now promoted it in service of the billionaire class.
