I feel like I’m struggling to keep up with what’s going on in the game unless I check the old school website periodically for news because I don’t scroll reddit anymore. I honestly have no idea what the community is up to anymore and it sucks because I enjoyed being apart of the community and the game is kinda losing some touch for me. I’m not in a clan but I do primarily play a GIM in an active group and if it weren’t for that I’d probably have quit for a while.
That’s how I feel about most gaming subreddits, with osrs being one of the worst. I had hoped that a community here on Lemmy would fill the void about news, but unfortunately most of the news information posted to Reddit is either from bots or Jagex themselves.
Yeah, maybe a bot would help here a bit but it would still be lacking it’s charm. A bit disappointed that the osrs subreddit didn’t have a little bit more solidarity about it all. This community will get better with time but it’s rough right now lol.
