17 captured occupiers taken in the Toretsk direction.

During the repulse of enemy assaults and counterattacks near New York, fighters of the 12th special purpose brigade “Azov” together with adjacent units captured almost two dozen soldiers of the Russian Federation.

Russians came to kill Ukrainians from different parts of Russia. Some of them are complicit in war crimes. Their statements will be handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation.

“Azov” continues to replenish the exchange fund in order to return the comrades from captivity as soon as possible.

The fighters of the brigade guarantee the safety of all Russians who have decided to lay down their arms and surrender.

I can’t get over there being a New York in Ukraine. Glad they captured those scumbags, I hope they face justice at The Hague

They will be tried in Ukrainian courts I imagine.

I can’t envision the Hague actually prosecuting, convicting, and jailing, any Russians. Just as I can’t see them doing that to Americans.

I could be wrong, Russia’s position has certainly weakened enough for it to be possible, but until that dam is broken, I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Ukraine on the other hand, that’s an entirely different story. They’ve already been prosecuting war criminals in their own courts. Which is problematic in its own right, but if the Hague isn’t a viable possibility yet, what other options do they have?

Throw them in a deep dark cell.

The ones responsible for the murders should be covered in honey and locked in a dark cell where a fresh six inch camel spider is released every 15 minutes.

A public trial in Nurembourg would be much more effective in saving lives.

Just be careful, if the UN is involved Russia has a veto over a lot of things and can use that pervert justice.

The Ukranians are smart enough that this is how it’ll likely go down, and I agree that it’s the right thing to do, but I don’t think it’ll make a difference in how many lives are saved. I hope I’m wrong about that though.
