Weird request, but I’m interested in watching Adventure Time in Castilian Spanish, and I don’t mind paying to stream it. I live in the US with a Max subscription, but Adventure Time is only available in English on it. HBO Max still exists in Europe, and apparently the Spanish translation is available there. I’ve got NordVPN and am connected to a Spanish server. I can install the HBO Max app and create an account, but when it comes to pay for the subscription it won’t take any of my credit cards and Google Pay says everything is unavailable to use “in my country.” I’ve tried buying a prepaid card with 10€ from dundle.com, but nothing will go through.
How do you go about making payments to geoblocked services?
If you subscribe to HBO Max on a Spanish server via VPN, then you try watching without a VPN, you’re only going to get the US version.
You can login to your US HBO Max on an European VPN, and it should give you what you’re looking for.
On another note, using a VPN to subscribe is a good way to take advantage of regional pricing from a country that offers it cheaper.
