Jaywalking is now legal in New York City. Legislation passed by the City Council officially became law over the weekend after Mayor Eric Adams declined to sign or veto it after 30 days.

    Nice. On 2nd Ave/34th St there other day NYPD was reminding folks to wear helmets, in a seemingly friendly way. Stuff like that and not ticketing someone crossing the street sound like good things to me.
