Intel won’t die for the very simple reason that the US kind of went all-in on it.
It might become a fraction of what it was, but the US will keep it going.
It might be bought out though by another US company and die like that 🤷
Dead company walking.
Don’t think the US government would allow Intel to fail (be it their fab business or their design business).
Probably not, but they are doing such a good job failing all by themselves that I don’t think it’s something that can be fixed with just money.
